Ukrainian National Federation Camp Sokil, located in Hawkestone, ON is well in the 2017 season. The campers are enjoying some very nice weather, canoeing, making arts and crafts, establishing lasting friendships and enjoying good wholesome, homemade food.

Ukrainian Women’s Organization of Canada-Toronto Branch has in previous years donated new equipment, such as the industrial dish washer, for the camp. This year, UWOC-Toronto donated accessories for the existing sound system, as well as a commercial toaster.

In the picture, Anne Fedun, Olya Fedornyak, Iwona Woloszczakiewicz (camp cook), Dianna Fedun, President UWOC Toronto Branch, and Anastasia Baczynskyj, Director of Programming at Camp Sokil (all Ukrainian Women’s Organization of Canada-Toronto Branch members) are checking out the toaster.

The mixer, which is shown, was donated by Stacey Suessmuth in honour of her mother Pani Stafirna. She was a very active member of UWOC-Toronto and sat on the executive for many years.

These donations are possible through our members and many guests attending the various events we hold. We would like to thank everyone for their patronage in supporting us and we in turn can support our children.
