The Paul Yuzyk Institute held its yearly leadership seminar on October 24th. This year, due to the the Covid-19 pandemic, the seminar took place online. The topic of this year’s seminar was “Career Development: Engaging in the Community to Advance Career Goals”. Guest speakers included Yvan Baker, Alexandra Pavluic, Anton Sestritsyn, Borys Sirskyj, Anastasia Baaczynskyj and Borys Gengalo. Topics of discussion included: Ukrainian-Canadian presence in policymaking, social media disinformation, career Paths in the Canadian Intelligence Service, Serving our community as a career choice, and Civic Activism and Leadership in the Ukrainian-Canadian community.
