About The Position The Executive Director of the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada (Toronto Branch) is a dynamic and highly motivated leader who is able to employ a broad set of skills to oversee the largest branch of the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada.

Located at the UNF Community Centre in Toronto, Ontario the Executive Director is responsible for the oversight and day to day management of all Branch Operations, Programs and Activities across Toronto, Ontario and Hawkestone, Ontario.

Leading a team of full time, part time and contract employees the Executive Director will be responsible for implementing the mission and executing the vision of the Board of Directors, while ensuring appropriate financial, organizational and operational controls are in place to govern the organization.

Key Responsibilities The Executive Director will be responsible for the following key areas:

 

Member Services & Community Engagement

·       Lead the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.

·       Represent the UNF in the community and in public venues.

·       Oversee and Lead Effective Member Engagement & Communication.

Administration

·       Oversee, direct, and manage all staff Directly or Indirectly

·       Oversee fundraising and grant application initiatives.

Operations

·       Ensure that all facilities are managed in an appropriate state of repair

·       Ensure that the organization is appropriately staffed

Programming

·       Work with the Board, Committees and Staff to develop community programs in line with the organization’s strategy, mission and vision.

·       Ensure the programs meet objectives and engage and serve members, while promoting new memberships

·       Develop program proposals and make recommendations to the board on future program initiatives.

Experience ·       An understanding of the Ukrainian Canadian community in general and the UNF of Canada Specifically.

About The Position The Bistro & Hall Manager is accountable to the Executive Director and responsible for oversight of the operations of the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada (Toronto Branch)’s UNO Bistro & Trident Banquet Hall operations. This role includes oversight of Bistro and Banquet facility staff, management of food service logistics, and operations.

As the key leader of all bistro & banquet hall activities the Manager is an integral role for the success of the UNF’s Strategic Business Objectives that fund community programming. The person is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Bistro Supervisor(s) and Event Planner and indirectly all bistro and hall support staff to ensure that a consistent level of services is delivered to the customers.

The role requires someone who can manage relationships, be customer focused and also organized and effective at managing multiple priorities. Solid administrative and computer skills are required.

 

Key Responsibilities The Bistro & Hall Manager will be responsible for the following areas:

 

Administration

·       Oversee, manage Bistro & Hall Staff.
